Disclaimer & Waiver
By booking, enrolling, or allowing their dog(s) to attend Haven Pet Care, the Owner expressly acknowledges and agrees to this Disclaimer and Waiver. The Owner understands that dog care, handling, and group play involve inherent risks that cannot be eliminated, including but not limited to injury, illness, escape, stress, property damage. The Owner voluntarily assumes all such risks on behalf of themselves and their dog(s) and knowingly waives, releases, and forever discharges Haven Pet Care, its owners, employees, contractors, and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to the dog’s attendance, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Haven Pet Care – Disclaimer & Waiver

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
By booking, enrolling, or allowing their dog(s) to attend any service provided by Haven Pet Care, the dog owner (the “Owner”) confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the terms of this Disclaimer and Waiver. This agreement applies whether or not a physical signature is provided.

THIS AGREEMENT is entered into between Haven Pet Care and the dog owner (the “Owner”).

1) Ownership & Responsibility
​
I, the Owner, confirm that I am the legal owner of the above-named dog(s) and accept full responsibility for them at all times. I assume all risks, dangers, and responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or incident involving my dog(s) while in the care of Haven Pet Care. I understand that I remain solely responsible for any harm or injury to my dog(s) during attendance.

2) Dog’s Health
​
The Owner confirms that their dog(s) are healthy, fully vaccinated, and fit to attend Haven Pet Care. Evidence of vaccinations, including Kennel Cough, must be provided prior to attendance. Dogs with conditions or illnesses that could jeopardise the health of other dogs or people, or who have had a communicable condition within 30 days of enrolment, must not attend.
The Owner understands that even fully vaccinated dogs may still contract illnesses such as Kennel Cough and agrees not to hold Haven Pet Care responsible for any such occurrences. Dogs must be treated for fleas, ticks, and worms, with treatment dates provided to Haven Pet Care staff.

3) Release of Liability
​
The Owner acknowledges that, during normal supervised play and care, injuries such as scratches, punctures, bites, torn ligaments, illness, or stress-related conditions may occur. Haven Pet Care staff supervise interactions to reduce risk; however, all risks cannot be eliminated.
By booking with Haven Pet Care, the Owner agrees that Haven Pet Care, its owners, employees, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any illness, injury, death, loss, or escape of the dog(s), provided reasonable care and precautions are taken. The Owner hereby releases and waives any claims arising from the dog’s attendance. This release is intended to operate in accordance with UK law, including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and relevant consumer rights legislation.

4) Veterinary Care & Liability
​
The Owner authorises Haven Pet Care to seek veterinary treatment for their dog(s) if illness, injury, or concerning behaviour occurs. The Owner accepts full financial responsibility for all veterinary costs incurred. Permission is granted for treatment by the Owner’s nominated veterinary practice or, if unavailable, the nearest available emergency veterinary facility.

5) Puppies, Senior Dogs & Special Needs
​
The Owner understands that puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with medical or behavioural conditions may be at increased risk of injury, illness, or stress-related complications. By booking and attending Haven Pet Care, the Owner waives any claim for illness, injury, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions while in our care.​

6) Full Force & Effect
​
This Disclaimer and Waiver applies to every booking and each occasion the Owner’s dog(s) attends Haven Pet Care. This Agreement remains in full force and effect unless replaced or superseded in writing. Booking a service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms.
